Youth from both Banting Middle School and Como Lake Middle School
are eligible to attend the program.
The primary age group served by the program, are youth between the
ages of 11 and 14 years old.
Kateslem is a “needs based” registration program. Parents, teachers
and counselors can refer a vulnerable youth to the program. Students are also
encouraged to sign themselves up for the program, and commit to the year.
There is no registration fee for the program, although
each member is required to donate one item of
non-perishable food per month, to assist those in
need in the Coquitlam community.
